  • 1 Cup leftover cooked rice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk/milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter/oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract (optional)

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
