This namkeen is super delicious and is perfect for fasting days. It is quite easy to make, you can store this namkeen in an airtight container for at least 10 days.

Ingredients of Makhana Dry Fruit Namkeen

  • 100 gm Makhana
  • 1 cup Peanuts
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1 cup Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup Watermelon seeds
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1 cup Coconut pieces (thin and cut lengthwise)
  • 7-8 Curry leaves
  • 3 Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • to taste Rock salt
  • 2 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli
  • 1 tsp Roasted jeera
  • 3 tbsp Desi ghee

How to Make Makhana Dry Fruit Namkeen

First, put a tablespoon of desi ghee in a pan. Roast the peanuts on low flame till they become crispy and take them out in a bowl.

In the same pan, roast the almonds, then take out the seeds of cashews and melon seeds after roasting them one by one.

After this roast the raisins for few seconds.

Roast the coconut pieces and take them out in a bowl.

Put some more ghee in the pan, add green chilies, curry leaves and fry for a few seconds and after some time add makhana to it and roast it till it becomes crispy.

If needed, add one more spoon of ghee. After the Makhana is roasted, add all the dry fruits to it.

Now add red chili, rock salt, black pepper and roasted cumin and mix all the things in it. Switch off the flame and enjoy the namkeen after it cools down.
